It’s available there, get it while it’s hot!

This release targets GNOME 45 to 50.

If you’re looking for the legacy applet/tray-icon, it’s available here.

What’s new?

  • Bug fixes: multiple crash fixes across the UI, daemon, and GNOME Shell extension
  • GNOME Shell extension: fix GC crash and signal leak on extension disable
  • GNOME Shell extension: now handles daemon connection failure gracefully
  • GNOME Shell extension: history items no longer steal keyboard focus on hover
  • UI: fix crash when a history item has no value yet
  • UI: fix key events incorrectly forwarded to search when another entry has focus
  • UI: fix default history item count not reset after history deletion
  • UI: enforce minimum window size to prevent unresizable state
  • Settings: add descriptive tooltips for ‘Sync daemon’ and ‘Detect growing lines’ settings
  • Settings: fix signal loop when updating shortcut entries
  • History: image files are now deleted when removing history items
  • Daemon: fix image files being stored in the wrong directory
  • Build: explicitly link libgpaste libraries against libc
  • Translations updates

And don’t forget to run gpaste-client dr aka gpaste-client daemon-reexec after upgrading GPaste to activate new functionalities ;)

You can then run gpaste-client daemon-version to check that the correct daemon is running.
